FAQ

Frequently asked questions

What formats do I get?

Word files (.docx) that open in Word and Google Docs, PDF guides, a Notion-ready Markdown file and a one-page how-to-use PDF. C1, C2 and C3 add an editable executive deck (.pptx and PDF). The Complete System adds two spreadsheets (.xlsx) that work in Excel and Google Sheets.

How do I open the files in Google Docs, Word or Notion?

Word: open the .docx. Google Docs: File, then Open, then Upload, or use the copy link in your access PDF. Notion: import the Markdown file (Settings, Import, Text and Markdown) or use the duplicate link in the access PDF. Decks open in PowerPoint, Keynote or Google Slides. If the type looks different, install the free fonts Newsreader and IBM Plex Sans.

Can I use my own brand color and logo?

Yes. Titles in the client versions use the built-in Heading 1 to 3 styles with one color each. Change the style once and the whole document follows. The steps for Google Docs and Word are in each how-to-use PDF. Client versions carry a [Your logo] placeholder and no Kaltvane branding, because you send them as your own documents.

What does the license allow?

You can use the templates for your own business and your own clients. You cannot resell, share or redistribute the templates, in whole or in part, in any format. Read the full terms on the Terms of sale and license page.

Are the examples real?

No. All names, companies and figures in the examples are fictional and labeled that way. The kits contain no real client data.

Is this legal, financial or HR advice?

No. The kits are templates and guidance. Review terms with a local professional before use.

How do refunds work?

See the refund policy. It is a draft until the founder confirms the final wording.

How are VAT and other taxes handled?

Checkout runs on Lemon Squeezy, the merchant of record: it processes the payment, shows the final price before you pay and handles the VAT on the sale. [Check: the founder has not yet confirmed this with Lemon Squeezy.] The Terms of sale and license page has the details.

Is it a subscription or software?

No. Each kit is a one-time purchase of files you keep.
